Treating OCD & Anxiety Across Tennessee and Illinois

OCD and Anxiety can take up a lot of space in our lives, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

OCD and Anxiety love to tell us that change is too hard and too scary. As a result, we begin avoiding uncertainty and slowly allow the fear to take over. Challenging that fear alone can feel overwhelming and nearly impossible. That’s where I come in. Together, we will identify the parts of OCD and Anxiety that are no longer serving you and come up with a plan for creating change. You will begin strengthening your ability to accept uncertainty and discomfort, realizing that you no longer have to run away from it.

About

Hi, I’m Paige.

I love doing this work because I have the privilege of seeing change firsthand. People often come into their first session feeling overwhelmed and stuck, unsure of how to gain momentum for change. Within a few months, they have found that momentum and are able to maintain those positive changes in their lives.

I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD and Anxiety, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ERP can sound scary and challenging (spoiler alert: it is), but I’m here to help create a plan that slowly introduces the scary and challenging things so you can build your tolerance for it. Eventually, you’ll be asking yourself how those things were scary in the first place! Sometimes finding the motivation for change can be hard enough. ACT is a perfect addition in these moments because it helps us explore your values and use those as the fuel for our work together.

While this work is challenging, it can also be fun. I show up to session as my authentic self. I’ll bring humor and warmth, while also being straightforward and direct. I hope you will choose to bring your authentic self, too - the good, the bad, the ugly. I’m here for all of it.

In life outside of my work, you can find me spending time in the sun, exploring new restaurants, and going to concerts.  I feel the most grounded when I’m near water, so I make a point of getting to the beach as often as possible. Let’s be honest - if you really need to find me, I’ll probably be on my couch with my dog Hugo watching my favorite shows and cheering on the Red Sox.

Enough about me, tell me about you!

Send me a quick note, and we’ll set up a time to chat to see if we’re a good fit.
